Favourite family moment – there are many, but what stands out are the times I want to press pause to enjoy the joy and gratitude I feel for my two amazing children.

Favourite GOH moment – the nurses at the Regional Fertility Program trying to convince me that a positive pregnancy test meant I really was pregnant! After several failed IVF attempts, it seemed too good to be true. 

I am a committed senior communications professional with more than 10 years of experience and a strong background in media relations. Having spent the majority of my career in the oil and gas sector, I recently joined the City of Calgary’s Transportation Business Unit where I’m now leading exciting communications projects in the Planning and Infrastructure divisions.

My favourite family moments are two-fold: finally seeing that “Pregnant” sign in pregnancy tests – after a successful round of IUI which resulted in my son Xavier, and then again after a successful round of IVF which resulted in my daughter Madison. But the first time I was able to hold each of my healthy children in my arms – nothing could be better than that.

Attending Images of Hope has very special meaning for me. My first time attending was while I was pregnant with my daughter. I remember being so thankful all night long – both for my successful pregnancies that were achieved with the RFP and also for the ability for other families to find that same happiness with the assistance of Generations of Hope.

Robyn has been working in finance for over 20 years, and currently works at Husky Energy. Robyn's favourite family moments are on weekend mornings; she and her family cuddle up in bed and read books together.  Robyn's favourite memory from volunteering on the board? Knowing that she is helping to get families one step closer to realizing their dreams of having a baby.
